Meet DryDrive
DryDrive was formally established in 2021. However, the engineering behind the system began to take shape in Williston, North Dakota during the Bakken oil boom. Taking note of the lucrative opportunity, our two founders moved to Williston in 2012 leaning on their experience of hauling water and crude.
Through years of experience operating hydraulic pump drive systems in the Bakken, they recognized a significantly reduced capacity throughout the day and constantly dealt with bursting hydraulic lines and subsequent hydraulic oil spills that cost their businesses valuable time and money. They knew there had to be a better way. Through years of testing, prototyping and sheer willpower, DryDrive was born.
Fast forward to 2021, DryDrive was granted a patent and the first prototypes were installed on a fleet of trucks for testing and evaluation in Williston, North Dakota. Immediate results exceeded all expectations, and DryDrive began to take shape.
DryDrive’s parent company, LOVIS, LLC, was established at the end of 2021, fueling the transition from a field-testing prototype to a market-ready product. The founders built a strong management team to deliver DryDrive and future LOVIS products to market. The company leaders have gleaned decades of experience through leading operations in electric vehicle manufacturing, oil field logistics, industrial automation, custom equipment design-build, tire manufacturing, food production, and waste disposal. LOVIS currently has two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in St. George, UT and Minneapolis, MN.
DryDrive is proving to be a Safer, Faster, and Smarter alternative to hydraulic and direct drive systems. The intelligent control system seamlessly manages unwanted variables through advanced technology that shuts pumping systems down before potential problems become catastrophic failures, that cost truckers and trucking enterprises valuable time and money. Welcome to DryDrive!
